(LSVN) – VssID is a digital social insurance application that contains information about paying and enjoying insurance benefits of employees. In particular, this application allows users to look up information about the user's illness and maternity.

VssID is a digital social insurance application built, released and managed by Vietnam Social Insurance. VssID has the function of synchronizing data related to the process of participating in social insurance and health insurance so that users can clearly look up their legitimate interests.
Accordingly, to look up maternity pay on VssID, employees follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your VssID account
Enter the social insurance number >> Enter the password issued by the social insurance agency.
Step 2: At the Personal Management page >> Select Beneficiary Information
Step 3: Select “ODTS” to view information on maternity benefits
If the employee's maternity benefit record has been approved by the social insurance agency, the system will automatically display information about the amount of maternity pay received here.
If the application for maternity benefits has not been approved, information about the maternity amount will not be displayed on VssID.
In case the VssID application has displayed the content of enjoying maternity benefits but the employee has not yet received the allowance, the employee needs to wait a few more days.
Because now, maternity records are handled by the social insurance agency on professional software, so the information about pre-maternity will soon be updated to VssID.
Meanwhile, maternity pay returned to employees is done by the specialized department, so it will be done later. Therefore, the time to receive money will be slower than the information on the results of the settlement of maternity procedures.
If the employee registers to receive maternity benefits via ATM card, the employee will receive the money a few days after seeing the notice on VssID. All you need to do is wait for the money to flow into your account.
If the employee registers to receive cash at the social insurance agency, the employee actively contacts the social insurance agency to receive the maternity payment soon.
If the employee registers to receive cash through the company, the employee should contact the company to see if the company has received the benefit payment from the social insurance agency. If the company has received it, then offer to pay the worker in full.
If the company hesitates to pay maternity benefits, the employee can complain or denounce the employer about the employee's misappropriation of the employee's compulsory social insurance benefits.
For this violation, the employer may be fined from 18% to 20% the total amount of the employee's social insurance benefits, but not exceeding 75 million VND (according to Clause 2, Article 41. Decree 12/2022/ND-CP).
